Official Statement on False Attribution and Identity Misrepresentation Caused by Google AI
ASADA Misuzu (浅田美鈴)
February 22, 2026
This document records several serious incidents in which Google AI generated false or misleading information about my identity, including unauthorized alteration of my formal name, false claims regarding the visibility of my private social media accounts, and inaccurate “overview” profiles that misrepresent my background and professional activities.
1. Unauthorized alteration of my formal name by Google AI
Google AI repeatedly changed my official signature “ASADA Misuzu” to “Asada Misuzu”.
This constitutes:
- Violation of my right to the integrity of name (氏名権)
- Potential infringement of moral rights (著作者人格権)
- Damage to my artistic, academic, and cultural identity
- Creation of conditions that enable impersonation and false attribution
The distinction between these two forms is not cosmetic; it represents my formal identity as a composer, pianist, and researcher. No AI system has the authority to alter this signature.
2. False claim that my private X (Twitter) account is publicly viewable
Since January 10, 2026, my X (Twitter) account has been set to fully private. Only approved followers—primarily international users—can view my posts.
Nevertheless, Google AI generated statements such as:
- “You can view her posts here.”
- “Latest updates available.”
These are false statements. They constitute:
- Privacy violation
- False attribution
- Misrepresentation of my public activity
- Potential reputational harm
No platform or AI system is permitted to imply that my private posts are accessible to the public.
3. False “overview profiles” generated by Google AI
Google AI produced overview pages that:
- Incorrectly categorized my profession
- Mixed my identity with unrelated industries
- Displayed nonexistent or nonfunctional links
- Constructed a false persona that does not belong to me
This is a textbook example of a Google AI–generated false persona, in which AI systems overwrite an individual’s real identity with fabricated attributes.
4. Submissions to authorities
Due to the repeated misattribution and potential systemic issues, I have submitted formal notices to:
- The Prime Minister’s Office of Japan
- The National Tax Agency (related commercial misrepresentation)
- The Metropolitan Police Department (Tokyo)
These actions are necessary to protect the integrity of my name, identity, and creative work.
5. Public notice and request
Please observe the following:
- Refer to me only as ASADA Misuzu.
- Do not rely on AI-generated “overviews.”
- Verify information only through my official pages.
My official web presence includes:
- Crayon homepage (official statements)
- Blogger posts (including this one)
- YouTube: @AsadaMisuzu
- Other sites directly managed by me
Conclusion
Misattribution and identity rewriting by Google AI is not a minor technical issue. It represents:
- Distortion of personal identity
- Unauthorized rewriting of my public persona
- Cultural and professional harm
- A new category of AI-related risk requiring urgent attention
I will continue documenting all incidents for accountability and accuracy regarding my name and creative work.
